DUI suspect runs red light, crashes into Tesla

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A suspected DUI driver was arrested shortly after midnight Thursday after a two-vehicle crash left one man injured in the Skyline neighborhood, authorities said.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred at the intersection of Woodman Street and Skyline Drive. Investigators say a 38-year-old man was heading southbound on Woodman in a 2004 Ford Explorer when he failed to stop at a red light and slammed into a 2025 Tesla Model Y that was traveling westbound on Skyline.
