Police investigating fatal Fourth of July stabbing in Logan Heights

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man was fatally stabbed at a transient camp in Logan Heights early Friday morning.

The San Diego Police Department received a call about the stabbing around 1:15 a.m. According to officers, the incident took place at the man’s makeshift transient camp behind a Walmart building near the intersection of 21st Street and Commercial Boulevard.

The victim, described to be in his late 20s, was found by responding officers just outside the encampment with at least one stab wound.
