SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — On Saturday afternoon, a San Diego native, 51-year-old Jeff Brady, drowned in the Colorado River after saving two young boys who were swept away by the river’s current.
Brady went to Granite Hills High School where he met his longtime friends, Summer Needham and Joann Ripley.
That friendship lasted decades, and that’s why it’s so hard for them to learn to live without him…
