SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A teen on a bicycle was injured in a collision with a vehicle in the Fairmount Village neighborhood of San Diego Saturday afternoon, police report.
A 20-year-old man was stopped at a red light at Dwight Street while a 17-year-old boy riding a bicycle down Fairmount Avenue entered the pedestrian crosswalk at the same time as the vehicle turned right and was struck by the vehicle, San Diego Police report.

Officers and first responders arrived around 4:20 p.m. Saturday to take the 17-year-old to the hospital with a fractured left femur and a shattered left ankle.
