Ramona residents push for Highway 67 changes

RAMONA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Ramona residents are beginning a push for more safety measures along Highway 67 after at least eight people were recently killed on the rural highway.

On Friday, five people were killed when a pickup truck traveling the wrong way slammed into two cars head on.

“We don’t have four consistent lanes. That causes angst when someone is driving the speed limit there’s always driver behavior that wants to pass and get around in an unsafe manner,” said Robin Joy Maxson…
