Bazaar del Mundo outdoor market brings artisan crafts from Mexico, Central and South America

(FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego’s annual Bazaar del Mundo outdoor market brings Latin American folk art and crafts back to Old Town during the first days of August.

The free event features a lively, outdoor market showcasing artisanal items from Mexico, Central America, and South America, including clothing, jewelry, pottery, and other crafts for sale.

This year’s edition features a select group of artisans from Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, El Salvador, Ecuador, and other countries, along with several live demonstrations, music and food.

The Bazaar del Mundo is from August 1 to 3 at 4133 Taylor Street. The hours on Friday and Saturday are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with Sunday’s event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m…
