SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A San Diego bus driver died at the hospital after experiencing a medical emergency while driving a bus with passengers on board.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded at 9 a.m. Tuesday to a MTS bus that had crashed on State Route 163, blocking traffic going onto the highway from University Avenue.
According to CHP, a 60-year-old MTS bus driver experienced a medical emergency while driving on State Route 163 north in University Heights. The bus veered off the highway, hit a guardrail on the right shoulder and became disabled, blocking the on-ramp from University Avenue…
