Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers fired at a man who attempted to flee from an inspection at a Southern California port of entry.
Border Report detailed that the incident took place on Monday night in southeastern San Diego. Then, a 59-year-old man entering the U.S. from Mexico was referred to a secondary inspection.
He tried to flee but couldn’t leave the lot and proceeded to drive south, nearly striking three officers who proceeded to fire their weapons. He eventually stopped and surrendered. He was not shot but did get injured by the broken windshield…
