IDYLLWILD-PINE COVE, Calif. — A preliminary 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck near Idyllwild at around 9:43 a.m. Friday, according to the United States Geological Survey.
USGS reported that the earthquake’s epicenter was about six miles southwest of Idyllwild.
According to the USGS “Did You Feel It?” map, the earthquake was felt around Riverside County, parts of Los Angeles County, and as far south as Fallbrook and San Marcos in San Diego County.
