SDPD has confirmed to NBC 7 that a body found near the 100 block of Sea World Drive is connected to an earlier hit-and-run collision that happened in the same area.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in that area at around 12:20 a.m. Saturday morning.
While conducting their initial investigation they found that one of the drivers, who was driving a 2013 Honda, took off after rear-ending another other vehicle which was pushed forward, and hours later determined to have hit a pedestrian on the side of the road, the watch commander said…
