SDPD issues 1,500 parking tickets at San Diego beaches

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — From July 2 to Aug. 15, the San Diego Police Department issued approximately 1,500 tickets for vehicles illegal parked at the beach.

“If we can get everybody off the streets in a way that doesn’t have enforcement, that’s great. That’s not the reality of the situation,” said SDPD Sergeant Michael Wallace.
