As the holiday season rapidly approaches, Target is expanding its next-day delivery of package shipments to 35 of the country’s leading metropolitan areas, often at no cost, providing families with greater flexibility for last-minute gift purchases.
By late October, the program will extend to San Diego, California; Orlando, Florida; Tampa, Florida; Kansas City, Missouri; St. Louis, Missouri; Charlotte, North Carolina; Durham, North Carolina; Cleveland, Ohio; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This expansion will bring the total availability to more than 35 cities.
The retail powerhouse also revealed plans to further extend next-day delivery to over 20 additional metropolitan store regions in 2026, encompassing Cincinnati, Portland, Oregon, and Salt Lake City.
Company data shows that more than 80% of the U.S. population has access to same-day delivery, while 99% can receive their purchases within two days.
