Gunfire erupts in Jamul neighborhood, deputies arrest suspect

JAMUL, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI)– Deputies on Sunday responded to reports of a person discharging a firearm in a residential neighborhood in Jamul, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the report, officers arrived at the scene, located in the southeastern community of Rancho San Diego, around 3:07 p.m. and discovered the shooting incident stemmed from a dispute between two neighbors.

During the altercation, a residence was reportedly struck by gunfire, although authorities confirmed that no one was injured.
