SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers arrested a man who was attempting to cross into Tijuana, Mexico, from San Diego County while carrying a dozen firearms in his vehicle, according to authorities.
CBP officers from the San Ysidro Port of Entry and deputies with the San Diego Sheriff’s Office Border Crime Suppression Team intercepted a suspicious vehicle on Sept. 14 at 8:25 p.m.
The vehicle, described as a silver Ford Explorer, was identified based on information given by the SDSO to CBP officers, authorities said.
