SAN DIEGO — As the federal government shutdown continues, there’s growing concern that travelers at San Diego International Airport could soon start feeling the effects, especially at TSA checkpoints.
While the airport remains fully operational for now, many federal employees, including TSA agents, are continuing to work without pay. That’s raising fears that if the shutdown drags on, staffing shortages and longer wait times could begin to impact travelers.
