SAN DIEGO — Through the passion and persistence of two high school students, a new school pantry officially opened its doors with a celebratory ribbon-cutting at Clairemont Canyons Academy on Thursday.
Ava Halls and Sydney Scelfo, best friends and students at Francis Parker School, are proving that age is no barrier to making a real difference in the fight against hunger.
