Three Federal Officers Injured As Man Rams Government Cars To Evade Arrest

Three federal officers sustained injuries after a man, identified by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as being in the U.S. illegally, allegedly rammed his car into their vehicles in San Diego. According to ICE San Diego Field Office Director Patrick Divver, the suspect, who is from Kuwait and has a final order of deportation, used his vehicle to strike ICE officers and crash into multiple government vehicles.

The incident occurred in a residential area near a daycare center and Whittier School, causing concern among local residents. The suspect reportedly turned around in a cul-de-sac on Dakota Drive before crashing into a truck, bringing the pursuit to an end. Michael Burreec, a witness, described the neighborhood as a quiet area with a 20 mph speed limit, emphasizing the risk to public safety.

“Lives of people that live in our neighborhood were put in jeopardy,” Burreece told KUSI
