One of San Diego’s most iconic locations is being closed through next February, state park officials announced this week.
Due to improvements for accessibility and upgrades to utilities, visitors to Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve will have limited access starting in November.
While both beach parking lots — and Torrey Pines State Beach itself — will remain open, visitors will be unable to visit most of the trails in the main reserve, which, as well as the upper lot and the road up to it, will be off-limits…
