SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Firefighters were at the scene of a vegetation fire burning near the U.S.-Mexico border Saturday afternoon.
The Border 18 fire spread from 5-10 acres at around 2 p.m. Saturday to 60 acres within about an hour and was burning south of the community of Dulzura and Highway 94, Cal Fire reports.
The fire was remained at 60 acres and was 50% contained by 7 p.m. while firefighters worked to build containment lines around the perimeter, Cal Fire said…
