San Diego Food Relief Organizations Receive $3M in Emergency Funding

Two of San Diego’s leading hunger-relief organizations, the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and Feeding San Diego, have each received $1.5 million in emergency funding from the Prebys Foundation to strengthen the region’s food security network.

The grants will help expand emergency food distribution, support local farms, and ensure access to nutritious meals for thousands of residents. Both organizations serve hundreds of thousands of people each month across the county, providing critical resources to children, families, seniors, veterans, and other underserved populations…
