SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego Police Department shared its review of 54 different technologies it uses during Wednesday’s Public Safety Committee meeting, asking for the committee to reauthorize the use of Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPRs).
The committee approved the staff recommendation to approve the re-authoritarian and the matter will now go to the city council for a vote in December.
