A reported burglary in Poway led to a high-speed encounter and subsequent narcotics arrest this week. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department received a call in the early hours on Thursday, reporting that two masked individuals had entered a home in the 12400 block of Oak Knoll Road and were seen speeding off in a gray Scion and a white sedan.
Responding, Sheriff’s deputies located the vehicles near Pomerado Road and Ted Williams Parkway, pulling them over at the Target Shopping Center in Poway. Three individuals were detained for questioning related to the burglary call, during which deputies noticed narcotics in the white Ford Focus, which was driven by Daniel Baker, as reported by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office. A search of the car unveiled an assortment of illegal drugs, including 514 Adderall pills, LSD, ketamine, “molly,” marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, MDMA, and cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia.
Baker now faces multiple charges for possession and transportation of controlled substances for sale, and for committing a felony while out on bail. Accompanying him was Nicole Kridler, who was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Kridler received a citation and was released…
