Anderson told the station she became suspicious when the land, which she estimates is worth more than $2 million, was pitched for roughly $150,000. The supposed seller went silent as soon as she asked for identification. County officials cite cases like this as proof that title fraud is becoming more sophisticated and harder to detect at a glance.
