LEMON GROVE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Two men are facing felony burglary charges after they were reportedly caught stealing over $1,000 worth of merchandise from a Home Depot in Lemon Grove on Thursday.
The alleged theft occurred around 6:00 p.m., during which time a sheriff’s office team was reportedly coordinating a counter-theft operation at the same Home Depot located on Broadway.
According to the report, deputies saw a 30-year-old man and a 40-year-old man walking out of the Home Depot with the stolen merchandise. The 30-year-old reportedly surrendered to the deputies, while the older man fled from the scene. After a short foot pursuit, deputies arrested the man.
