SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The Thanksgiving Holiday Enforcement Period is officially in effect across the state. During this time, California Highway Patrol is increasing patrols to make sure people obey traffic laws, wear their seat belts and do not drive under the influence.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office will be doing the same throughout the county.
