The 19-year-old UC Berkeley student who died in a suspected drowning in a pool at a fraternity house party was identified as George Mauricio Salinas of San Diego, according to reports from multiple news agencies.
Salinas died after an apparent drowning incident at Alpha Delta Phi on Nov. 14.
The Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau did not respond to several requests from the Chronicle seeking confirmation of the victim’s identification. The coroner’s office had not released a cause of death as of Friday afternoon…
