SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A California mother is grateful she and her newborn daughter were able to escape a fire that destroyed their home and everything inside.
Violeta Nieto was nursing her 4-day-old daughter, Tahlia, last Thursday in her mobile home in Fallbrook when she noticed smoke filling the room. She says the fire started after her landlord attempted to restore power that had gone out overnight due to winds.
