CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man and a woman were found dead in an apartment early Tuesday morning, according to Chula Vista police.
Around 2:20 a.m., the Chula Vista Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from a resident of a complex in the 5400 block of Kingswood Drive. The caller reported hearing what sounded like a family disturbance followed by a single gunshot.
When officers arrived at the home, they found a man and woman in a bedroom, both dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Both were in their 20s and are believed to have been living together in the apartment, police said.

One firearm was recovered from the scene and there are no outstanding suspects believed to be involved at this time, according to police.
