On December 10, deputies from the Lemon Grove Sheriff’s Substation carried out a retail theft operation at several businesses in Lemon Grove, California. The Community Oriented Policing and Problem-Solving (COPPS) team led the effort. The operation resulted in the arrest of seven people. Six were charged with misdemeanors, and one faced a felony charge. Deputies made about one arrest per hour during the eight-hour operation.
