A settlement has been reached in the lawsuit over the death of a 11-year-old girl California girl who was allegedly tortured and starved to death by her adoptive family.
The settlement, reached on Friday, awards $31.5 million, be be paid by the city and county of San Diego, to the younger sisters of Arabella McCormack, who died in August 2022.
The suit was brought on behalf of the two younger sisters of Arabella McCormack, who died in August 2022. The girls were 6 and 7 at the time.
