SAN DIEGO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A teen was fatally struck by a vehicle Saturday in Mira Mesa, according to the San Diego Police Department. The crash happened in the intersection of Camino Ruiz and Hydra Lane around 11:06 p.m. Police say a 40-year-old man was driving a 2020 Chevy Traverse northbound on Camino Ruiz as he approached the intersection.
At the same time, a 15-year-old boy, who has not been identified, was walking in the intersection and was struck by the vehicle, police said. It is unknown in what direction he was walking.
Authorities said the driver of the vehicle is not suspected of driving under the influence, and the area was foggy at the time of the collision. SDPD’s Traffic Division is handling the investigation…
