The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lenah Sutcliffe Higbee returned to its homeport of San Diego following a nine-month mission to the U.S. 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations on Dec. 19.
Higbee departed San Diego with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group on March 26, 2024, with an air wing detachment from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 49.
