- At around 2:59 PM reports of a traffic collision came out in the area listed above.
- On arrival first responders located two vehicles with major damage.
- While attempting to extricate one of the drivers it was determined, they were deceased and pronounced on scene.
- The other driver was transported to a trauma center for their injuries.
- At this time, it appears the white vehicle was traveling westbound on SAN DIEGO Hill Road when it lost control jumped the median and collided with the other vehicle.
- Eastbound lanes of San Alejo Road will be shut down for several hours as investigators determine the cause of the crash.
- Traffic is heavily impacted as it is being rerouted.
