SAN DIEGO — The family of a 61-year-old San Diego man who died after a tree branch hit him while standing on the sidewalk outside of his City Heights home on Christmas Eve has filed a lawsuit.
Roberto Ruiz Salmeron was outside of his home at the intersection of Wightman Street and Marlborough Avenue when a large portion of a Silk Oak Tree, which was planted on the sidewalk, splintered and fell on Mr. Ruiz Salmeron.
