SAN DIEGO — San Diego police are warning drivers that swapping factory steering wheels for racing-style ones without airbags is not just dangerous, but it is a misdemeanor that can land people in jail.
Officer Anthony Carrasco said he’s seen the trend too often during traffic stops and felt compelled to post a public warning on social media.
