Mother sues city after San Diego sixth grader is hit, killed while walking to school

SAN DIEGO — The mother and two young sisters of a Pershing Middle School sixth grader who was hit and killed by a car while crossing Jackson Drive on October 20 of last year are suing the city of San Diego for failing to address what the lawsuit claims was a dangerous roadway.

Heather Klasno and her two young daughters filed a lawsuit, alleging the city’s negligence in the death of 11-year-old Andrew Olsen.
