Tiny trendsetters: San Diego’s most popular baby names of 2025

Think popular baby names are all about TikTok trends and viral challenges? Think again. In San Diego County, parents are still reaching for classics like Emma, Olivia, and Noah — but 2025 also brought plenty of multicultural flair and family-inspired choices.

The San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk’s Office has released the official Top 10 Baby Names for last year, based on birth records filed throughout the county. Jordan Marks, the elected Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk, is the official record holder of San Diegans’ most important life moments, from births and marriages to deaths.
