San Diego Man Arrested for Assaulting Teenagers in Valley Center Pond Incident

In an update to a chilling incident that occurred in early November last year, Jaymes Martinez, 27, has been arrested following community cooperation through the Crime Stoppers process. According to a social media post from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, Martinez is facing charges for two counts of displaying a weapon in a threatening manner and one count of vandalism. The arrest comes after a frightening event where two teenagers were terrorized by a knife-wielding man, now identified as Martinez, while fishing at a Valley Center pond.
