SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego will host several major events throughout the Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend, and the Metropolitan Transit System will provide ramped up Trolley service to accommodate the high volume of attendees.
Eventgoers can use transit to avoid traffic and skip parking hassles during the event-packed weekend, and attendees can use any of MTS’ free Park & Ride lots. Visit the MTS website for a full list of Park & Ride lots, which are located throughout the Trolley network.
Weekend events that are accessible by MTS include the San Diego Rodeo, Monster Energy AMA Supercross and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade.
