PACIFIC BEACH, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego Police Department has provided an update regarding a fatal hit-and-run in Pacific Beach on Saturday afternoon, during which a 6-year-old was struck and killed.
According to SDPD, a 6-year-old boy was riding his bike along the sidewalk of Pacific Beach Drive when he went to cross an alley at Ingraham Street.
Meanwhile, a 32-year-old woman was driving east on Pacific Beach Drive when she reportedly made a right turn into the alley and allegedly struck the 6-year-old bicyclist with her vehicle. According to SDPD, the driver stopped for several seconds before accelerating rapidly southbound in the alley…
