Chula Vista Brewery, a locally owned craft brewery, has temporarily closed as it undergoes renovations and prepares to roll out a new culinary concept at 871 District Place, Suite 102, in Chula Vista.
The company’s Eastlake location closed as of January 14, 2026, as owners Timothy and Dali Parker begin updates to the space, according to SD Beer News. The Parkers estimate the project will take approximately six to eight weeks, putting the expected reopening window in late February to early March 2026. Brewing operations will continue during the closure, with production maintained on the brewery’s 10-barrel system. Customers can expect updates to the food program when the space reopens.
As part of the refresh, the Parkers recently brought on Derek Gallanosa as the brewery’s new head brewer. Gallanosa, a Chula Vista native, joined the team in November and brings experience within the South Bay beer scene. His addition aligns with the renovation’s timing and the broader changes underway.
