San Diego Police warn of swatting after fake emergency calls lock down several schools

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) β€” San Diego Police are warning the public about the dangers of swatting after a series of fake emergency calls caused lockdowns at multiple schools Tuesday.

β€œIt was an automated message notifying that there was a bomb threat, and the school is on lockdown,” said parent Ryan Dickerson as he described a call no parent wants to receive.
