After years of community planning, organizing, fundraising and build-out, SunCoast Market Co-op will celebrate the grand opening of its full-service, community-owned grocery store with a celebration and ribbon cutting on Jan. 31 at 600 Palm Ave., Suite 107, Imperial Beach.
The festivities will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., with guest speakers — San Diego Supervisor Paloma Aguirre and Imperial Beach’s Mayor Pro Tempore Jack Fisher — scheduled for 9 to 9:30 a.m. The event will also feature giveaways, food samples and music.
