San Diego police recently apprehended a man allegedly caught scoping out parked vehicles in the college area. The officers from the Eastern Division were on proactive patrol when they noticed the male suspect who seemed to be assessing cars for potential burglary, according to a social media post by the San Diego Police Department.
During the attempt to detain the individual, the suspect resisted and moved toward his waistband. This behavior prompted officers to immediately conduct a weapons pat-down. They discovered that the suspect was carrying a loaded handgun without a serial number, equipped with a high-capacity magazine.
