The San Diego Regional Task Force on Homelessness is doing the 2026 Point-in-Time (PIT) count this Thursday, January 29, beginning at 3:30 a.m. The counting will begin at about 50 locations throughout the county.
Cities are not the only areas counted. According to RTFH spokesman Tony Manolatos: “Unincorporated areas are counted along with CALTRANS properties, safe sleeping sites, etc.”
