The city of San Diego is getting set to roll out parking meters in Normal Heights, Kensington-Talmadge and City Heights.
The new meters will increase turnover and free up spaces in areas where parking has been a challenge, according to city officials.
Meters will run from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. There is no set price yet, and the city said installation could begin as early as this week.
As for the money collected from the meters, it will be reinvested into those local neighborhoods, helping to pay for street and sidewalk repairs, and other parking related projects…
