Kaisu Bakehouse, a marshmallow-based dessert concept known for Asian-inspired flavors, is preparing to host a series of pop-ups across San Diego.
The concept was founded by Katarina Su, who relocated to San Diego at the end of 2025 after running a dumpling pop-up in Atlanta, according to San Diego Magazine. Su brought Kaisu Bakehouse with her after the move and has since been working with local businesses to introduce the brand through pop-up events. Confirmed appearances include a Valentine’s Day pop-up at Kendra Scott at Fashion Valley and a March pop-up at Easy Does It coffee shop, with the exact date still to be announced. Customers can expect a rotating selection of marshmallow treats inspired by nostalgic snacks.
Kaisu Bakehouse specializes in marshmallow treats similar to Rice Krispies treats, featuring Asian and Asian inspired flavors.
