SAN DIEGO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning in a possible hit-and-run in Pacific Beach, the San Diego Police Department confirmed.
Police said they responded to multiple calls just after 2 a.m. of a male pedestrian lying in the roadway after possibly being struck by a vehicle. Police said it happened on Garnet Avenue near Gresham Street.

Officials said that at the time, no one who reported the incident saw the actual collision, but did see a vehicle flee the area.
