Just around the corner from UC San Diego’s Theatre District and Eighth College Survivance building stands the framework of a new eatery hall: STATION8 Public Market. Although originally projected to open in Fall 2026, STATION8 has postponed its opening date until further notice due to conflicts in construction.
STATION8 is not an official Housing Dining Hospitality development, but rather a commercial food hall. It will feature a variety of local vendors and small businesses in the style of a public market. STATION8 will be one of the first food hall concepts at UCSD. Students will not be able to pay for meals using Dining Dollars, but they will be able to use Triton Cash.
