(FOX 5/KUSI) — Several local elected officials are responding to influencer Nick Shirley’s visit to San Diego, following controversy regarding his videos at Minnesota childcare centers.
Shirley, a 23-year-old political influencer, gained online popularity after posting several videos of him and his team recording daycares in Minneapolis, alleging them of fraud. Many of Shirley’s videos focused on Somali-run businesses.
